The Reader - loved it
Nick and Norahs Infinite Playlist - really, really loved it and could totally tell it was written by women.
Rachel getting married - Anne Hathaway was amazing, but the music in the movie drove me up the wall. I hate that kind of music and that guy's voice really grated.
The curious case of Benjamin Button - great movie, looooong. Brad Pitt is hot.
Tell No One - French film, the under-appreciated Kristin Scott Thomas was as usual amazing.
The Counterfeiters - great movie. Holocaust setting
The Visitor - great movie as well. Sad.

Wrestling with accepting the fact that not everyone wants to have a natural birth and many women are just scared of the pain. Even women who don't want to take any drugs that are prescribed to them for whatever reason, to sleep, to stop anxiety etc. but there is pain medicine in epidurals which does pass to the baby. I don't know, I guess I was so excited about having a baby and being a mom, I wanted the birth to be what is supposed to be the best for the baby. To enter into the world and not immediately get rubbed down, the cord clamped and cut, take away from me but laid on my chest, to be alert and to feel everything. I believe that the woman's emotional state goes over to the baby. If someone doesn't want the child, doesn't express love towards the baby while it is growing inside, the baby will know that. If the birth is artificial and started unnaturally, it just starts the baby off wrong. I've seen these YouTubes and the moms are laying there going, yes, epidurals.. I can't feel anything. Great. That's the solution then, just don't feel anything. Longer labor, baby not as alert, etc. After giving birth naturally, combined with the stupid asshole I was married to having an affair and having to make decisions and get through things with no help, I feel so strong. It is just hard for me to understand why mothers to be would think about themselves before their babies. I am beginning to see a trend in my liking people who put themselves first above all else.
It's all about ME. I like living where I do so if you don't like where we are living, tough. Hey, I haven't seen you in 20 some years, let me talk about myself, my kids the entire time and ask you maybe 3 questions about yourself. Me, ME, ME. Damn, I'd be looking for a way out of that situation as well and if takes the guise of turning religious then that's what I'd do. YUCK. BTW, as far as I know weird is spelled weird not wierd. My spell checker even knows that. The little girl who thought you were amazing has her eyes open. You blamed the missing $5000 on me and your friends thought that I had taken it. You did that on purpose.
