I hurt my knee sometime during last night's srubbing (I didn't even get a game off her -Mom of a 2 year old and a 5 month old - no wrinkles (that's my excuse and damn it, I'm using it). Didn't notice the pain until after we were done. Got worse as the night went on. Hurts to bend leg towards hammies. Can't push myself up from floor. Of course, after playing tennis yet again today for 1.5 hours, it hurts even more. I'm going to ice it & take another advil/aleve whatever it is.

I don't know, can't find a - keeping moving as normal, get a brace and wear it, don't bend your knee, whatever & can't find the answer.

I did find this blog though. Great exercises and description.

Successful, goal-orientated, mom of one teenager and one 20 year old (!!!), 3 dogs and 5 cats.  Tennis and ski bunny, instant swimmer as well.  Voracious reader, loves music, travel, movies and Vincent D'Onofrio and Gael Garcia Bernal.  Absolute loves are the color pink and anything leopard print but mostly my two wonderful children and P.D., Hunter, and Bella (and Umi, Oliver, Buster, Hallie and Cheyenne).

Hmm.. kids are 22 (almost 23) and 21 now, down to two dogs, still at 5 cats. Not so big on Vincent & Gael anymore - traded for Andrew Garfield, Joel Kinnaman and Mika.

Neighbor - whew

I'm 2310, he's 2305 Forest

So the new neighbors that painted my fence and put their garden right up to mine were unaware about the property line. We are probably going to have to get it surveyed - $1600 split. I gave him a copy of my picture from the title, we discussed what to do about it, all very calmly and politely. Whew. I was so scared to go over there and my hands were seriously shaking. I'm so relieved it went well.

Sunday morning shopping

Banana bread and coffee from Brewing Market. Went to McGuckin's. Sidetracked. Started to talking to this woman with her little dog about the dog as it had obviously had back surgery done (and Bella is starting to really worry me - oh noes!!!) She turned out to be a Electrical Engineer. She had been in San Diego, moved to Mass for a job, job was shit, she left after 4 months, now she's on her way to Washington. She said that some of the men have outright said "they would never have a woman in their lab" and that a lot of the women in EE get to certain place and then they "disappear" - quit, retire, change careers because they know they aren't going to get moved up at all.

School Boards and yes, I'm talking right to you Boulder Valley... sure do need to be switched up, legislators do, etc. Can you think of anything that wouldn't benefit from a "everybody switch hands with the person to your left" or reverse, or Advanced Uno rules/games - zeros, sevens, etc. 

Anywho, we must have chatted for over an hour - dog, surgery, women in tech, working with men (and that's a whole different thing, believe me)

A special place in hell

I went on a walk with M today. Her x-husband is actively dying at the home of his 3rd wife. M was number 2. M and D had two girls. D left M to be with The Psycho-Bitch From Hell - otherwise known as TPBFH. D was in an accident a few years back and had severe brain damage (always be careful and alert in parking lots, please). TPBFH called one of the daughters at 10 p.m. and said she should come see her father and say goodbye. TPBFH allowed each daughter 15 minutes with their father. They were not allowed to be alone with him, nor were they allowed to be together when seeing him. Their father is still alive and this bitch will not let his only children who love him see him. This woman didn't even let them know that their father had been in and out of the hospital this past month and that he was ill. TPBFH won't even let his first wife who has known D since first grade/kindergarten come see him and say goodbye.
Wow.
So there is a special place in hell for this evil woman. I know who she is, oh yes, I do.

True story

Son has been sick with the flu: fever, aches etc.. Sunday through Wednesday a.m. He comes over tonight (no notice, grr) eats, drops off his laundry ("which might be kinda gross 'cause I used it as a kleentissue") I have no trademark sign on my iPhat iPad. I offer him a cookie. He declines. I'm in the garage, come back in and all of a sudden he wants a half of cookie. Sure. Np. He leaves. I come in to use iPad, open up Safari and what was he reading??? a forum on a mj site about smoking while you are sick. He researched it!!! I am success!
