Neighbor - whew

I'm 2310, he's 2305 Forest

So the new neighbors that painted my fence and put their garden right up to mine were unaware about the property line. We are probably going to have to get it surveyed - $1600 split. I gave him a copy of my picture from the title, we discussed what to do about it, all very calmly and politely. Whew. I was so scared to go over there and my hands were seriously shaking. I'm so relieved it went well.

Sunday morning shopping

Banana bread and coffee from Brewing Market. Went to McGuckin's. Sidetracked. Started to talking to this woman with her little dog about the dog as it had obviously had back surgery done (and Bella is starting to really worry me - oh noes!!!) She turned out to be a Electrical Engineer. She had been in San Diego, moved to Mass for a job, job was shit, she left after 4 months, now she's on her way to Washington. She said that some of the men have outright said "they would never have a woman in their lab" and that a lot of the women in EE get to certain place and then they "disappear" - quit, retire, change careers because they know they aren't going to get moved up at all.

30% of the Forum should be women and specifically higher level women executives. Things need to be shaken up. Mix things up. Aren't we all just free agents? I mean, really. School Boards and yes, I'm talking right to you Boulder Valley... sure do need to be switched up, legislators do, etc. Can you think of anything that wouldn't benefit from a "everybody switch hands with the person to your left" or reverse, or Advanced Uno rules/games - zeros, sevens, etc. 

Anywho, we must have chatted for over an hour - dog, surgery, women in tech, working with men (and that's a whole different thing, believe me)
